Alfredo Melendez & Susan Robinson will be running in the 2010 New York City Marathon in Nov. for charity. “DANCING FOR ANIMALS” PARTY – Fri. Sept. 17th, 9:30 pm – 12:00 am @ Stepping Out Studios. Hosts: Dancing for Animals President and Founder Liz Peterson, & Ken Grossberger. Dancing for Animals and Stepping Out Studios will come together one Friday every month to offer social dance parties including a dance class at Stepping Out. Featuring DJ spinning mixed music in the Grand Ballroom; Beg. Swing & Salsa Class 8:30 - 9:30 pm. Dancing for Animals is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people together to dance and help the animals of the world at the same time. Through dancing, it works to raise funds, give grants to existing animal welfare organizations, improve the lives of animals, educate people about animal issues and abuses, and inspire volunteerism and community activity. Admission: Stepping Out Students $8; General Public $10. Funds raised go to support Dancing for Animals’ educational programs and give financial support to animal organizations.
